Yanks Slam Tampa

Masahiro Tanaka gave up two hit and K'd 8 over 7 scoreless innings as the Yanks beat Tampa 9-0.   What a relief to see Tanaka able to dominate again.   The Yanks blew it open with a 7 run 7th where Chris Young hit a two out grand slam.   Suddenly, the Yanks are closer to .500 than I thought they'd be for awhile.  Hmmm.

McCann, for whatever, has sick career numbers v Odorizzi and that continued

I want to see Tanaka pitch as if he has no UCL issues. If it blows it blows.

The Yanks will be better than people think. If Beltran/Tex can hit a bit I think we can challenge for the Division. As a "forever" fan, I'd be willing to have a bad year or two to build up the farm, ensure long term success over a longer haul.

Beltran is cooked, and unless McCann starts walking again, he's going to continue struggling.
