Giants "On The Verge" of Signing OL Adam Snyder

The 49ers cut 32 year old OT/OG over money, and the it looks like the Giants are in the process of signing him.   He would probably start at RG while Schwartz is out, and give us excellent depth when Schwartz gets back.  This would be a very good move by the Giants and I am glad they seem to be making it.   He's not a shot player, and can still contribute.  I think he played for the Cards before the Niners.    Good idea.

Unlike with the Yankees, my faith in the Giants has been shaken but it has not been obliterated. So I hope that this move works out, and I am still hopeful for a very good season.

There has been some discussion in the NY media lately about whether or not Eli is elite.

Show me a QB that is elite with a piss poor OL. Without making a direct comparison, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning wouldn't be elite under that circumstance.

The sports media is filled with morons.

The definition of "Elite" is whatever the person asking wants it to be.

I am not a Giants fans, but I will tell you that winning in the NFL is very difficult. Anyone who wins 2 Super Bowls is, IMO, considered among the top quarterbacks in the game.

No 2-ways about it.

Signed. Schwartz to the 8 game injured reserve. It will be interesting to see how they configure the line.
