Apparently, Knicks Camp Has Opened

Who knew?  The Knicks are up at West Point, learning the triangle and feeling out their new coach and staff. I think I would have been more excited about this season if we had more young players, or had had more cap room during this offseason.   As it is, I am interested, but realize the next two years are probably where it's at, and not so much this year.   Still, they're not doing anything wrong right now, and we can keep talking about them.

According to today's NY Post, the full 2 1/2 hours of practice was devoted to defense. Seems from some leaks from some players (JR Smith???) the focus will be to force penetrators to the sidelines instead of funneling everyone to the middle.

Now that would be great. Let's see if it works.

I think they have the best or second best owner and management team in NY (a low bar, to be sure) with outcome of the last NYG's offseason determining who gets the top spot, so I am very, very excited about this new era.

As for young players, I want to see what Larkin, Hardaway, and Shump can develop into.
