Giants: Beckham is Sore and Will Not Play Against the Jets

Better safe than sorry, but you have start wondering how much missing the first four preseason games will curtail his rookie season.   This is getting a little frustrating.

Our strength and conditioning team is a damn joke.

That it has lasted to some degree since May has been my reasoning behind the need to hedge with backups for him, and why I would be reticent to make him the primary returner. He may have to be handled with extreme care until an offseason of complete rest.

So they've been trying Pugh at LT and Mosley at RT, but I agree with a point you made that the best OL is probably:

LT: Beatty
LG: Richburg
C: Walton
RG: Schwartz
RT: Pugh

But reportedly, that is one configuration that hasn't been worked on yet in practice.

I'd sort of like them to trade for Alex Boone, and put him at RT with Pugh at LT.

Oh, OK. Normally, I would hate to trade pick(s), but they are so heavily invested in Eli that ensuring that the OL is sound is imperative given his relative immobility, and really, if he doesn't trust his line, the confidence issues that led to mistakes last year will resurface..
